WHAT ARE YOU LOOKING FORWARD TO MOST IN YOUR NEW POSITION?

I’m excited to work with a diverse group of professionals and join in the positive, productive environment they’ve created here. As a recent college graduate, I’m eager to make long-lasting connections with these incredible communicators. I look forward to learning from them and supporting them throughout my internship!

 

ANY ADVICE FOR ASPIRING PR/PA PROS?

Write, write, write! Take every opportunity to write in school and on your own. It’s something that you need to practice constantly, and while a good writer is a vital asset in any field, it’s particularly valuable in PR/PA positions.

 

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE THING ABOUT WORKING IN THE PR/PA INDUSTRY?

My favorite thing about PR/PA is that it’s used across so many industries. I love learning about the technology and healthcare industries one day, and construction and transportation the next. These fields are always changing or being influenced by politics, so there’s never a dull moment!

 

WHAT DO YOU LIKE TO DO OUTSIDE OF WORK?

In my spare time, I take dance and yoga classes to stay active and have some fun during the week. I’m also a big fan of Seattle’s parks and recreation areas and love taking every opportunity to walk, jog and peddle-boat in our beautiful surroundings.

 

WHAT’S ONE THING ABOUT YOU THAT WOULD SURPRISE ME?

I was in an improv comedy group for a couple of years! Once, I even got to “play” with the Portland Minor League Comedy Sportz team.
