Veronica brings a breadth of knowledge to the Nyhus team with her many years’ experience in Washington, D.C. She serves as a senior account executive at Nyhus, with a focus on public affairs, government and community relations and marketing.

Prior to joining Nyhus, Veronica worked as a corporate relations manager at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, the world’s foremost trade association representing American business worldwide. In her role there, she worked closely with the organization’s top executives to manage the Chamber’s relationships with many of its Fortune 500 members. Veronica also played an integral role in recruiting new companies to join the trade association.

Other previous experience includes corporate fundraising and event planning at both a boutique public affairs firm in D.C. She also worked in the alumni relations office at The George Washington University (GW).

A two-time graduate of GW, Veronica received her master’s degree in Legislative Affairs and her bachelor’s degree in International Affairs. She remains an active member of the George Washington alumni community where she volunteers her time planning events, speaking on career panels and engaging with students any way she can.

A native Seattleite, Veronica loves to cheer on her beloved Washington Huskies and Seahawks. In her spare time, Veronica is an avid concert-goer and enjoys travel, cooking, and visiting her family on Whidbey Island.

Veronica currently serves on the board of Mainstream Republicans of Washington and as Washington State Representative for Republican Women for Progress, a national grassroots policy organization representing the voice of moderate Republican women. She is also a member of the Junior League of Seattle.
