When Vulcan Technology chose to participate at the Geekwire Summit, they partnered with Nyhus to bring a one-of-a-kind interactive digital experience to the event. Our proficiency creating stunning visuals, coupled with our strong executive communications practice produced a holistic event – touching attendees at the booth as well as telling the compelling story of Vulcan Technology’s work to a packed audience.

Challenge

With Amazon, Google and Microsoft in your backyard, standing out as an innovative tech company can be hard to do in Seattle. Our agency set to work visualizing event concepts, managing event logistics with multiple vendors and writing the executive communication speech for Vulcan Technology’s CTO and Director of Philanthropy.

Results

• Working with Vulcan Technology’s engineers our team organized for a 55” touch screen table at the booth that displayed one of Vulcan’s most compelling projects, the Domain Awareness System. The project showcased an interactive map of Africa and placement of endangered species, allowing attendees to interact with and better understand the work.
• Vulcan Technology’s iconic digital advertising visuals, created by Nyhus, were used in a looped presentation on a 90” screen throughout the event.
• The iconic digital advertising creative was also showcased on the Geekwire.com website, tying Vulcan Technology’s presence at the event with their recruiting efforts online.
• The presentation by Vulcan Technology’s CTO and Director of Philanthropy was so well received, the conference hall was standing room only, with over twenty attendees waiting after the presentation to speak with VT’s leadership.
