Project Summary

In an effort to increase brand awareness and attract top industry talent, Vulcan Technology was the headline sponsor at the very first SIFFX, a four-day festival within the Seattle International Film Festival. The event showcases the newest advancements in creative storytelling through the medium of virtual reality, augmented reality and 360°immersion. Working closely with Vulcan, Nyhus developed a dynamic presentation highlighting the company’s exceptional work and positioning Vulcan as the destination for technology workers seeking to use their skills as a force for good in the world.

Challenge

With hundreds of screenings taking place across participating SIFF theatres, Nyhus saw a perfect opportunity to create a promotional reel showcasing Vulcan Technology’s philanthropic efforts. Utilizing footage of Vulcan Technology’s unique global work, Nyhus cut together a fast-paced “sizzle reel” featuring Vulcan Technology’s achievements and inviting top industry talent in attendance to explore career opportunities at Vulcan.

Results

• The reel was played before various audiences over the course of the festival and is currently part of a broader tech recruitment and brand awareness campaign.
• The video has been repurposed by Vulcan Technology’s executive leadership, will run as a targeted pre-roll campaign and will continue to be a foundational story telling piece for Vulcan Technology.
• The video lives on the Vulcan Technology YouTube channel, where it continues to attract applicants by demonstrating the unparalleled opportunities that exist for prospective Vulcan Technology employees.
